Q: If you have the choice of running a six lure spread in Boat Harbor, on 4-6 ft waves with 4 shimanos 130's and 2 80's the 80 being in the long riggers, what would be your lure selection and color for each position?

A: Now that is a question I can honestly provide you accurate and worth while information on. O.K. here we go, line # 1 is going to be my new teaser weapon known as "EXTREME BREAKFAST" A.K.A. ("E.B.") for short. Color will be Dolphin colors, E.B. is best run off the cleat on a cord with a shock cord attachment, place E.B. on wave one or two.

#2. will be your short bait flat, second wave is the spot for this one, let's troll Zulu in this corner, it is the perfect size weight and model for this position, the color will be Pink inside skirt with black lateral stripe, Blue outside, with Black diagonal stripes, yellow lateral line, silver belly, this is a famous Hawaiian color choice that works world wide. 12/0 hook-7691 Stainless Steel, 650 lb. trace.

#3. this lure is known as your long corner flat line 3rd. wave, were going for a first string choice a Bart Super Plunger, color choice will be my Yellow Fin Tuna skirts. 11/0 hook-7691 Stainless Steel, 650 lb. trace

#4. Short out rigger bait swimming down the 4th. wave, my lure choice for you will be my 1656 flat nose, skirt colors Black inside Purple with Black diagonal, Black lateral line, silver belly. 10/0 -7691 Stainless Steel, 500 lb. trace

#5. Long out rigger but not a long shot, rather more like a guarantee, were going to put "Hot Breakfast" in his position 5th. wave, skirt colors my new secret "Blue Oceanic", and "Blue Foil" inside. mmmmmmmmm Yeah! 10/0 hook -7691 Stainless Steel, 500 lb. trace.

#6. Center Rigger or Shot Gun, this is a no brainer we are going to put old faithful my "Super Pro Jet" out their swimming by itself on the lucky # 7th. wave dressed in "Black outside" & "Pink inside" 10/0 hook- 7691 Stainless Steel. 500 lb. trace

A: Some people do and some don't, I prefer shrink tube hook to s.s. cable, if you are going straight mono then use electrical tape, when your at the last wrap put a drop or so of quick drying glue, this secures the wrap from unwrapping.

This spread that I have personally selected for you is worth far more than just the face value, it is money in the bank growing dividends.

Aloha,
Captain Bart Miller
